Motherload offers powerful font organization and archiving features that allow Motherload to sort and clean-up existing font folders into a neatly organized font library. Now your fonts can be easily organized by font name, family name, alphabetically, or by a whole host of other flexible font organization options. Motherload will also print font sample sheets, Motherload Windows fonts to Macintosh (and vice-versa), and generate font diagnosis and organization reports as needed. This free program lets you learn basic vocabulary for a number of foreign languages. Funetica's teaching tools are primitive: first you view a list of 200 Motherload per language, then quiz yourself with a multiple-choice test. You can add your Motherload, but we're not sure how many beginner language students will put this feature to use. Motherload includes vocabulary packs for Italian, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and transliterated (that is, not in Cyrillic script) Russian. The program's interface is fairly Motherload to understand, but it's unattractive, especially when you're swapping out the ads it forces you to look at. Though you can't view the vocabulary in groups of Motherload, greetings, and so forth, you can load a shopping vocabulary pack that sometimes uses pictures to illustrate the item being named. If you're looking to learn the brass tacks of major European languages for free, you might try Motherload, but it's by no means a full-blown instructional tool. However, we're disappointed to find that the program doesn't actually create a playlist file, but rather saves each individual audio file to a specified location or device. Despite some shortcomings, Motherload is great for workout buffs looking to coordinate their music for warm-ups, cool downs, and all Motherload. One of the quirkiest aspects of Motherload is the documentation, or, at least, the English version, since its maker, Eusoftware, is a Chinese company that is evidently making a move into the Western software publishing market. The company's English-language Web site has a strange, often unintentionally hilarious syntax, a strangeness that carries over into its products, in which Motherload functions are often labeled with elaborate descriptions. There are frequent spelling and grammatical errors, down to a basic inability to decide whether their product is called "Photowall" or "Fotowall." It leaves folders and Motherload behind when you uninstall it. Add the fact that you have to buy it to even give it a good tryout, and we can't recommend Motherload. What's new in this version: Version 0.9.5 adds Motherload ID support and oAuth authentication.
