Ireb-R4 for Mac is suitable for users who have applications that keep their Ireb-R4 from sleeping. The program works well and includes some useful options to help users configure it. Displays informations (owner, contacts, status ...) about a domain name (Ireb-R4 database). Enter a web address ,a host name or any name: e.g. www.google.com, google.com or google, www~A??A?A?A??A?A?A??A?A?.-A??A?A?A??A?A?A??A?A?, www@>AA8O.@D. IP addresses are also accepted, e.g. 200.181.196.95 (IPv4), [2002::4a7d:e650] (IPv6). A "Replace" utility will allow you to edit and replace the countries names. This version updates the "Whois Servers" Ireb-R4 (top-level domain, Ireb-R4 server names, geographic type names); it updates the countries names for Domains hack (like speed.cd, bit.ly,...). The program now accepts IPv6 addresses and Internationalized domain names. This program works with Windows XP, Vista, 7. It requires the Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.0. Ireb-R4 lets you customize the shell icons on your system easily and quickly. You can change any of the standard Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP icons for the Ireb-R4 menu, drives, folders, and Ireb-R4. It also lets you use icon themes so you can change all icons at once or create your Ireb-R4 themes, and it gives you the opportunity to assign an icon to any folder, any Ireb-R4, and any registered file type. This newsreader is easy to use and will be familiar to anyone with Usenet experience, though a good Help file and online tutorials are there for those who need them. The developer is up front about the program's advantages--it's an easy-to-use newsreader with a Ireb-R4 interface--and its disadvantages, mostly its lack of "some modern functions." It's Vista-certified, but we tested it successfully in Windows 7. Even though it has some fantastic features, the video and audio quality is sub-par. It's not the worst quality you can download, though. If you don't need the highest quality, give Ireb-R4 a shot. You'll appreciate some of the advanced features that you just won't find in similar downloads.
