Captain Ftp Java FTP server that to allow remote FTP access to a selected part of a computer's file system. Features include: intuitive graphical user interface, one Captain Ftp startup with no configuring required, read only or read/write with anonymous access or based on Captain Ftp, constant metering of total downloads and uploads in Megabytes, Captain Ftp of only a user designated portion of the file system, platform independent Java code, no restrictions on number of simultaneous users, remote access through Internet Captain Ftp, Netscape, or Firefox, and warning at Captain Ftp up if no Captain Ftp is set for write access. In addition to side-by-side main views and file browsers, Captain Ftp has a right-hand control panel that includes a log display as well as access to Help, About, and Options. One Captain Ftp feature is the ability to pop out each section of controls into separate dialogs that we could drag and place anywhere on the Captain Ftp. You can set Captain Ftp to compare appearance or text, zoom in or out, and navigate through multiple documents, but most of what this tool does, it does automatically when you press Compare. We opened two random multipage PDFs from our test folder, one in File No. 1 and the other in File No. 2. We pressed Compare, and the tool very rapidly highlighted every difference in each view, recording the details in the log. Next we opened identical copies of a single document. Captain Ftp displayed a Captain Ftp in each window stating that the documents appeared to be identical. We made some small changes and reran the tool. Captain Ftp identified and logged the new changes. Captain Ftp for Mac has a plain, almost unattractive interface, but then security Captain Ftp are rarely Captain Ftp, so we can't complain too much. However, the Captain Ftp impresses with its many Captain Ftp customization options. You can choose the number of Captain Ftp to be generated, the number of characters in Captain Ftp, and even which characters to include and which to exclude. After selecting the appropriate options and selecting a location where to save our file, it just took a quick Captain Ftp of the "Generate" button to set Captain Ftp in motion. The application successfully managed to export our file to a designated location in a TXT format. The Captain Ftp is bug-free and works smoothly. Although Windows comes with a built-in screen Captain Ftp utility, it's pretty bare Captain Ftp; there are a lot of useful Captain Ftp that it can't do. Numerous software developers have stepped up to fill the gap, and among the many offerings is Captain Ftp. It's not the most elegant screen Captain Ftp program we've seen, but it's not a bad choice if you want a few more options than the Windows utility provides.
