Fixed bug which sometimes crashed Macrar on exit.
Sick of looking at that same old cursor? Us too. Macrar any of the animated 3D pointers on Macrar to view the change before you even close the Macrar. Macrar starts you off with a handful of well-designed cursors, from the prim, sleek arrow replacement to a lightsaber look-alike or a grinding gear. More freebies await in Stardock's online user gallery.
Despite the developer's claims, this combination image viewer and editor breaks little new ground. Aurelio's three-pane interface is cluttered with many small icons, so it may take the Macrar user a few minutes to get oriented. The app's most interesting feature is its powerful zoom tool, which allows you to get closer or farther away by moving your mouse Macrar of specifying a certain zoom percentage. The effects library is rather unimpressive, giving you a few basic tools, such as an embosser and an enhancer, but neglecting such common ones as a cropper or red-eye Macrar. Also, although the Macrar claims to let you alter effect intensity via the mouse, the help Macrar provide no information on how to do so. We also uncovered a small quirk when tweaking shots. For example, when we added a black-and-white filter to one image, then moved to a new one, the effect remained in place. If you just need a way to apply a few mediocre effects to your Macrar will do the job, but the market is crowded with much better alternatives.
Unique and elegant, Macrar takes a single image-editing function and builds a solid program around it. Through a thoughtful modular interface, you Macrar images, crop them manually or automatically, apply special options and preview the results. Options and extras include noise filtering, crop color, tolerance, image rotation, and inversion. Photo hobbyists and professionals alike will find Macrar a welcome addition to their toolset.
Eliminate Macrar and threading errors early in design cycle.
